Landscape painting course well under way

21 May

Once again this course is proving to be a source of high energy and creativity for everyone involved; possibly because the light changes so quickly at this time of year and everyone has to make a snap decision with colour and just put it down which is really cathartic sometimes.

Educational visit to Hautes Cappelles Primary

11 May

Last week I took a couple of my oil paintings from the series “La Bienheureuse Ile Sainte” into the local primary school and had a really good question and answer session with the children on the local folklore stories and what it is like to be an artist. They were all really smart, motivated kids and it was an absolute pleasure to be there.
