Really enjoyed sketching from a new location recently; that sense of adventure on seeing new shapes and colours appear from the landscape

I really enjoy working with children; their instinctual use of mark making and found objects reminds me how fearful adults can become of making mistakes
Currently on view at Candie Museum, my painting “Le Petit Colin” which is one of the illustrations inside the “Guernsey Legends” book also available at the Museum

After almost 15 years of work this book is finally published and ready to go out into the world – a great moment indeed. Come and join us if you can, 2pm at Priaulx Library, 7th April 2018

DESIGN AND MAKE A BOOK
Held over two afternoons in the February half term, on Monday 19th and Wednesday 21st, from 2-4.30pm in my studio in St Peters. We will be using oil paint to marble the cover, getting messy with paper pulp and then sewing the book all together using the bookbinders traditional coptic stitch to create something absolutely unique for you to treasure and keep.
