Two days designed especially for teenagers, working with a professional artist and concentrating on drawing and painting skills. Work at your own pace on images that interest you. Opportunity to work in 3d rather than painting if so desired.
IMPROVING YOUR DRAWING SKILLS
Monday 14th August 2023 9.30-12.00 and 12.30-3
We will be looking at different ways of constructing a composition using inventive drawing skills by working with unusual tools and techniques to improve mark-making. We will map out a large drawing, using pen and ink, fine felt pens, flip chart markers, pencils, writing pens, pastels, charcoal and graphite.
IMPROVING YOUR PAINTING SKILLS
Tuesday 15th August 2023 9.30-12 and 12.30-3
Opportunity to work with watercolour, gouache, acrylic or oil paint; learn how to create washes, under-paint, block in colour, over-paint and stipple. You will then map out a painting using these techniques.
Workshops are designed for ages 12+ and take place in my art studio in st peters. Each class can be booked separately, morning or all day, the cost of each class is £30 which includes light refreshments.
