   Hi Frances, lovely picture, please don’t think i’m being pedantic, but as a tortevite, I recognise this lane immediately as Rue De L’aitte, – Rue De Pointes, is in fact the next lane along the main road. I know as I live down the bottom of it!, Mark

     Hello Mark, yes this has been pointed out to me several times already. in fact the original is owned by a family at the end of Rue De L’aitte, as they recognised their house in the painting regardless of what a misinformed artist dained to call it. Apologies if I offend torteviten sensibilities and thanks for looking at my work, always good to get feedback, Frances
