DESIGN AND MAKE A BOOK 

Held over two afternoons in the February half term, on Monday 19th and Wednesday 21st, from 2-4.30pm in my studio in St Peters.  We will be using oil paint to marble the cover, getting messy with paper pulp and then sewing the book all together using the bookbinders traditional coptic stitch to create something absolutely unique for you to treasure and keep.

Monday 23rd October:  Mosaic Flower Plates

Using plaster of paris and a selection of different mosaic stones, sea glass and beads, we will design our very own designer plate to take home.  2-4.30pm  £25pp

Wednesday 25th & Friday 27th October: Cold Porcelain Jewellery

A two part jewellery making workshop using this non-toxic paste that resembles porcelain when dry.  We will design and make our own beads, flowers and pendants to string on copper jewellery wire, using hand coloured cold porcelain clay – hand painting features on the jewellery and assembling the pieces on the Thursday session. 2-4.30pm both afternoons.  £45pp

All the workshops will take place in my studio in St Peters, limited numbers for the workshops due to small studio space.

My art studio was full of chickens, dogs and donkeys yesterday after a weeks work sketching and constructing animals in wire and plaster of paris as part of the animal sculpture course with some absolutely fantastic work by the children

Mon 14th – 18th August

Fun, week long course running from 9.30-12.00 every day in my studio, looking at sketching from animals and then making sculpture from found objects and chosen mixed media. Suitable for children 7+ with an interest in art and sculpture, tuition given by practising artist.  See website for more details

The studio and I am all mosaic-ed out after a fabulous birthday party on Saturday; 10 very happy girls and 10 very different and individual mosaics to take home.

In my studio in St Peters, drawing course starting 3rd June for 4 Saturdays and watercolour course starting 4th June for 4 Sundays, both courses will run 1.30-3.30pm.
